Bali is and will always be one of my favorite places in the world. There’s something about the air, the light, the laid-back flow of life—and of course, the yoga. I returned this time for a two-week intermediate training with Esak Garcia’s school, and wow, what a journey it turned out to be.

I’ll admit, I hadn’t been practicing intermediate consistently, and part of me wasn’t sure if I was ready. But once I stepped into that studio—with its perfect coffee corner, warm energy, and those familiar Bali vibes—I just surrendered. It was two intermediate classes a day, surrounded by passionate practitioners and incredible teachers. It felt intense, yet somehow effortless, because the energy lifted you through it.

The community was something special. That yoga bubble—where everyone speaks the same language of breath, discipline, and sweat—created such a safe and uplifting space. I met wonderful people from around the world, many of whom I know I’ll see again on the mat somewhere.

Practicing at that level, in that place, was more than just training—it was a reminder of why I love what I do. Transformative, inspiring, and full of life. Bali never disappoints.
